CTG joins Supply Corps at PAX River in the Fight Against Cancer

CTG has been a proud supporter of the Captain Ed Morgan Golf Tournament since 2012, hosted by the Navy Supply Corps Foundation at PAX River. Proceeds continue to grow every year, all of which are donated to the American Cancer Society.

The charity event originated 17 years ago, just before Captain Morgan lost his battle with cancer. When he passed, the Supply Corps dedicated the charity event to him, renaming it “Captain Ed Morgan Golf Tournament.”

Who was Captain Ed Morgan?

He was a man who believed in education and mentorship, loved serving his country, had strong family values and an unwavering Christian faith. In his down time he loved to host big family gatherings or take his bride out on date nights. His daughter, April Morgan, remembers how he used to scoop her mother Gloria Morgan, up and twirl her around the living room, singing and dancing in the evenings.

We shared a beautiful day with the Navy Supply Corp Foundation at PAX River, raising awareness and money for the American Cancer Society, whose mission is to attack cancer from all angles in order to save lives.
